What's included in the membership?
Membership is $35/month and includes the full NVC video course, a live practice group every month, practice games and exercises, early access to new content, and 10% off all private sessions and bundles.
How do I log in after joining?
Click “log in” in the top-right corner. Use the same email you used at checkout. If you don't have an account yet, that same screen will create one. Check your email for a one-time code. If you don't see it, check spam or promotions. Your membership unlocks automatically once you're signed in with that email.
I paid but the site says I'm not a member. What do I do?
Make sure you're logged in with the exact email you used when you paid. That's how the site matches your payment to your account. If it still doesn't unlock, reach out through the contact page and we'll sort it out quickly.
How do I cancel my membership or update my card?
Log in, go to the Membership page, and click “Manage subscription.” That opens a secure Stripe portal where you can update your payment method or cancel anytime. There's also a “Manage subscription” link in the footer of every page.
When does the practice group meet?
The practice group meets once a month. Your first session is free. RSVP with your name and email. After that, monthly sessions are included with membership. Members can RSVP in one click after logging in. You'll get the Zoom link by email, plus a reminder the day before. If those don't show up, check your spam or promotions folder. The next session is Sunday, September 20 · 3 to 4 pm Central.
What's the difference between the membership, the course, and private sessions?
The membership includes the full video course plus the monthly live practice group and games. It's the best way to learn and practice over time. Private sessions are one-on-one consultations with Micah for working through a real conflict in your life, and members get 10% off.
Do I need any NVC experience to join?
No. The course starts from the fundamentals, and the practice group welcomes everyone from complete beginners to longtime practitioners.
Is there a free way to get started?
Yes. Your first live practice group is free. The Art of NVC podcast, the “Do You Speak Violently?” quiz, the Faux Feelings test, the first Emergency Empathy conflict, free preview lessons from the course, and downloadable worksheets are also free.
Is there a sliding scale if the price is a barrier?
Yes. A limited number of reduced-rate spots are available for private sessions, and every option starts with a free 20-minute consultation. Reach out through the contact page and we'll find something that works.
Do you offer workshops for companies or retreat centers?
Yes. Micah offers on-site seminars, virtual trainings, and multi-day retreat intensives. See the For Organizations page to start a conversation.
Can I add Art of NVC to my phone's home screen?
Yes. On iPhone, open the site in Safari, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. On Android, open the browser menu and choose Add to Home Screen or Install app. It opens like an app, without the App Store.
